Everything you need to know about Pet Celebration Zone
1. What is PetCelebrationZone?
PetCelebrationZone is a celebration platform where pet owners create profile pages, share photos, join contests, earn tokens, and — when they are ready — turn a living page into a memorial on The Virtual Pet Cemetery.
2. Is the site free to use?
Browsing, cheering, and voting are free. Creating an account earns welcome tokens, and publishing a pet page earns more. Token packs are optional and paid through Stripe.
3. How do tokens work?
Tokens are earned through activity — publishing a page (+50), uploading photos (+5 each, up to 10 photos a day), voting (+5), daily sign-in (+10 each day you sign in. Every 7th day you also get a +20 bonus (that day is 30 — not a double that replaces the daily 10).), weekly challenges (+50), inviting a friend who publishes (+100) — or purchased with dollars. Spend them on contest entries, boosts, featured placement, badges, and games. Memorial gifts and carved words are spent on the garden page.
4. What happens when a pet dies?
The parent or staff can press Move to the cemetery. The same stories and photos remain. The page becomes quieter, with a headstone, guestbook, and gifts from friends. Share the stone from thevirtualpetcemetery.org.
5. How do contests work?
Pick a weekly theme, enter a pet (25 tokens, 100 token prize), or a monthly pet show (60 tokens, 300 prize). The community votes. When staff closes it, the top vote-getter receives the prize and a Champion badge.
6. Can I advertise my pet-related business?
Yes. Banner ads, sponsored reviews, contest sponsorships, and free local listings for small businesses — currently at Introductory Launch Rates (about 40–60% below projected long-term pricing). Memorial pages only show aftercare and grief-support ads.
7. Are all products digital?
Yes. Tokens, upgrades, ads, memorial gifts and gift certificates for pet pages are digital. A certificate can be printed as a keepsake; the page itself lives on the site.
8. Can I create pages for multiple pets?
Absolutely. Each member can create as many pet celebration pages as they want. You can also buy a Certificate of Celebration and give a fully paid page to someone else.
9. How do partner groups work?
Religious groups, rescues, schools and clubs apply on the Partners page. Approved groups get a 50% token-pack discount, keep 100% of the money when Stripe Connect is live, and cap at 30 members.
